MyRangManch is a professional network and casting platform for India's entertainment industry. Artists build a media-first profile — showreel, photos, credits, languages, casting details — and apply to real casting calls; production houses, casting directors and event companies post roles and hire directly. It covers acting, music, dance, comedy, theatre, voice-over, event hosting, technical crew and digital work.

Yes. Building a profile, browsing casting calls, applying to roles, posting a casting call and hiring are all free. There is no subscription and no commission, because no money changes hands on the platform at all.

No. Every open casting call is public — you can read the full role, the requirements and the pay before signing up. You only need an account when you want to apply, because the hirer needs to know who is applying.

Tap Join and enter your mobile number. We send you a code, on WhatsApp or by SMS, and once you type it in you answer three short questions: your name, your craft and your email. That is your account. Confirm your email from the link we send you, which is what unlocks applying to roles and messaging. If you pressed Apply on a casting to get here, you land straight back on that casting.

Enter your mobile number and choose Continue with OTP or Continue with password. Login and sign-up are the same screen: if the number is new, we set up your account; if it is already registered, you are signed in. If you signed up with an email address, press Log in with email instead. If one number has both an artist and a hirer account, you choose which one to open. You stay signed in on that device for 30 days.

Open the casting board, which lists every role currently open across India — film, television, theatre, OTT, music, live events and brand work. You can read every listing without an account. Artists hear about matching new roles in their craft through notifications and phone alerts. Hirers choose Male, Female or Both, and one or more age groups or All Ages. Recommendations and alerts allow five years on either side of each selected age group. Missing or invalid birth dates do not exclude artists, and everyone can still browse and apply to other roles. By email, the new roles in your craft come together in one summary email at 6 PM, with a View and Apply button for each role. If you have not opened MyRangManch for a while it comes less often, until you are back, and in Settings you can choose Weekly to get it on Mondays only.

Yes. In Settings, under Email preferences, you can switch casting emails off completely, or keep them on for auditions near you only: castings in your city and its metro area, plus roles open to all of India (that needs your city on your profile). Every casting still shows on the casting board and in your notifications whatever you pick.

Yes, once a day at most: the first message a hirer sends you that day emails you, so you never miss a casting director. Later messages that day still reach your notifications and your phone. You can switch the email off in Settings, under Communication preferences.

Open Settings and go to Other emails. Switch off Reminders and tips to stop profile reminders and other nudges, and switch off News and offers to stop product updates and our monthly newsletter. Every reminder email also has an Email settings link at the bottom that takes you straight there. Settings works even if you have not finished verifying your email and mobile number. Sign-in links, verification codes and emails about your account always reach you.

Open the role and press Apply. Each casting call states exactly what it wants — some ask for an audition video, some for a performance clip, some for links to past work — so you submit against that role rather than sending a generic profile. You will need a confirmed email and phone before you can apply. Every casting card shows who the role is for, by gender, age and city, so you can see what fits before you open it.

The casting company contacts you directly, by call, WhatsApp or a chat message on MyRangManch. Some roles take applications on WhatsApp, straight to the casting team, and others here in the app; either way the confirmation you see after applying says the same, in English and Hindi. Keep your notifications on and your profile complete, because the profile is what they open first.

Two ways: post a casting call and shortlist from who applies, or search talent directly and message the person you want. Search filters on craft, city, age, height, languages, look and rating, so you can narrow to a real shortlist instead of scrolling.

Sign up as a hirer from Hiring talent? Create a casting account on the login screen, complete your personal profile, confirm your email and phone, and submit your personal government ID for manual review. Once your personal ID is approved, you can post opportunities, browse artists and contact applicants. To hire through an agency too, use Add Agency on Edit profile and submit its registration and address proof. After both approvals, you can choose Personal or Agency on your profile and on each opportunity.

It is what keeps fake accounts off the platform. Artists are being asked to send audition videos to strangers, so a hirer who has proved both an email address and an Indian phone number is the minimum bar worth having. It applies equally to artists and hirers, and it takes about a minute.

Give it a minute: Resend code unlocks after 30 seconds. If the code was sent on WhatsApp and has not arrived, press Send by SMS. Each resend goes out through a different SMS provider, so a code one provider failed to deliver usually arrives on the next try. If both texts arrive, either code works. Check the number shown above the code box, and press Change number if it is wrong. You can ask for up to five codes a day.

Every hirer starts with their personal name, photo and location. Residential address, PIN/postal code and date of birth are private verification details. After personal ID approval, Add Agency lets you add an agency name, logo and establishment date, then submit agency documents. Artists see your personal profile until both verifications are approved.

Hirers must confirm email and mobile and have their personal government photo ID approved before posting, browsing artists or seeing full applicant profiles. Our team reviews the ID and calls them. Adding an agency is optional after personal approval; its registration certificate and address proof have a separate review. Both approvals are needed to show or post as an agency. Until personal approval, existing applicants are shown only as anonymous introductions. Each casting shows the actual Email, Mobile, Identity and Agency verification statuses.

Yes. On a casting call's applicants page, press Export to Excel. The file lists everyone on screen, so if you have filtered the list by age, city or anything else, only those applicants are in it. It includes each artist's casting details, their note, the videos and links they sent, their portfolio and social links and a link to their profile. Phone numbers and email addresses are not included: contact stays on MyRangManch.

Yes, though not one per applicant. One hour after you post a casting call, you get one email with everyone who applied in that first hour. After that you get an Applicant Updates email at 8 PM on the next two evenings, and again a week and two weeks after you posted, with how many new applicants it has and how many in total. If nobody new has applied, that update is skipped. Every applicant also reaches your notifications the moment they apply, and the MyRangManch app alerts your phone at every 10 applicants.

Only a hirer who has actually hired you, and only once the hire is recorded. Reviews run hirer to artist, so a rating reflects real work rather than anonymous opinion. If a review is unfair, an artist can dispute it and our team looks at it. The Reviews section appears on a profile once its first review arrives; until then it stays hidden, on your own profile too.

No. Pay is shown on a listing for information only, and the two sides agree terms and settle directly. We take no commission and never hold anyone's money — MyRangManch is about discovery and connection, not payments.

An intro video, photos including profile angles, a showreel, links to past work, your credits and experience, plus the casting details hirers filter on — age, height, complexion, languages and location. You pick one home craft and can tag up to five skills, including skills outside your home craft, so a singer who also dances is findable as both.

Complete it. Search results are ranked by profile completeness, so every section you fill in moves you up. Verifying both your email and your mobile number is part of it: a profile with no verified mobile cannot reach 100%. A profile below 30% is kept out of search engines entirely, because there is not enough on it to be worth landing on. An intro video and a clear headshot make the biggest difference.

Yes, if you leave it public — that is the point of a portfolio, and it is on by default. You control it in Settings, where you can switch the public version off completely or hide individual parts of it such as photos, work links, socials, reviews or posts. Signed-in members on MyRangManch still see your full profile either way.

Open their profile and use Block. Blocking works both ways at once — neither of you can message, connect, follow or find the other — and it takes effect immediately, whether or not you have finished verifying your own account. Your existing conversation is kept rather than deleted, so you still have the messages if you need to report harassment. You can undo a block in Settings.

Report it. Open the casting call and use Report at the bottom of the page, and tell us what looks wrong. Our team can pause a listing, which hides it from the casting board, from search and from Google straight away while we look into it, and the hirer is told why. We may message you about your report: it arrives in your Messages from MyRangManch Team, and you can reply there. Never send money to a hirer and never move an audition off the platform on someone's say-so.

Yes. When you try to log in, the suspension message has an Appeal this suspension link, which opens a short form at myrangmanch.in/appeal. Enter the phone number or email on the account and tell us why it should be reviewed. Our team reviews every appeal and contacts you on your registered details.

Yes, on both the App Store and Google Play. It is the same account and the same profile as the website, so anything you do in one shows up in the other straight away.
