Asim Shikhar is an Indian actor, theatre artist, and aspiring filmmaker. A graduate in Computer Science & Engineering from VIT University, Vellore, he further honed his craft by earning a Diploma in Acting from Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares in Mumbai. Asim began his acting journey as a child artist in the DD National television play Humnawaz. He is currently active in theatre, performing in the stage play AAA under the guidance of veteran actor Annu Kapoor, while also working as an Intern Assistant Director with Red Elephant Productions on a Netflix project. Coming from a distinguished literary family, Asim is the grandson of legendary Hindi poet and lyricist Gopaldas Neeraj and the son of internationally acclaimed Hindi poet Shashank Prabhakar. He is also the cousin of actor Sparsh Srivastava. Passionate about meaningful storytelling, Asim is dedicated to building a career in acting across film, television, and digital platforms. Alongside acting, he has a strong interest in screenplay writing and direction, aiming to contribute to cinema both in front of and behind the camera.
