Vikrant Verma
Theatre and Film Actor, Mumbai
About
Mumbai, Maharashtra
I come from a background in software engineering, but storytelling has always been at my core. I’ve worked professionally as a translator and writer, including Hindi adaptations of Disney’s The Lion King and Netflix’s Orange is the New Black. Beyond screenwriting, I perform original poetry at open mics, relishing the connection with live audiences. Recently, I transitioned into theatre through Drama School Mumbai, playing the lead in Mahesh Elkunchwar’s Holi. This experience deepened my passion for performance and affirmed my commitment to grow as both a theatre-maker and writer.
